Meet Donavan Moore / Master Tattoo Artist

Donavan, a distinguished tattoo artist from Winnipeg, has a rich and eclectic background. His journey began in the vibrant city of Winnipeg, affectionately known as "Winter Peg," where he pursued his education at the University of Winnipeg. A gifted athlete, Donavan excelled in volleyball, reaching national levels. His adventurous spirit led him to California, where he embraced the beach volleyball scene.

Trained in the classical art of tattooing, Donavan honed his skills in an unconventional setting where his tuition was uniquely covered. He possesses an extraordinary talent for constructing tattoo machines from virtually anything, showcasing his ingenuity. His tattooing experience spans across various locations and a diverse clientele, adding depth and versatility to his art.

Moving westward with his family, Donavan established a strong presence in Calgary, operating a successful studio for eight years. Since 2014, he has found his home in Kelowna, initially working in various shops before opening his own studio in 2017. His passion for biking extends to his art, as he skillfully airbrushes helmets and bikes, including a current project featuring the Rolling Stones.

Donavan's approach to tattooing is deeply personal and collaborative. He values the stories and inspirations behind each tattoo, believing that they carry narratives akin to scars.
